Absoluely none, so Brian Newman decided to take action against a 50ft-high sand dune standing between his house and the beach and hired a JCB digger to remove the obstruction.

Now he can gaze out over the Irish Sea while having his breakfast.

The trouble is Brian has pissed off conservationists who claim the gaping hole he has left in the dunes has wrecked the beauty spot at St Anne’s, near Blackpool.
