On the whole life as an expat living in the Gulf state of Qatar is pretty good.
Sure, some things take a bit of getting used to like the weekend starting on a Wednesday night instead of a Friday, the local customs can same a wee bit odd to begin with but not as odd as some of the Qataris themselves.
